Ozark Custom Calls

Work

These are just a few examples of my work.

This was my first carved call. It is made out of Bloodwood with no artificial coloring. It is slate/glass and sounds great! The call has a carved striker that tied in with the call nicely.

This is another Bloodwood carved call. This call was completely hand done from carving the wood to cutting the slate that came for an old Virginia barn roof. The glass was hand cut too.

Buckeye Burl Slate/Maple pot. Another example of the natural beauty of wood.

This call is Is a Bocote Crow call with and interesting grain figure to it.

This call is Holly with Ebony inlay. The call has a slate calling surface with a Walnut soundboard. The striker is Ebony.

Flame Box Elder always beautuful. The call is slate over a walnut soundboard, with a matching burly striker.

This Deer Grunt is Cedar Burl .

Spalted Maple Slate over a Black Walnut soundboard.

This call is Spalted Maple that was stained green. The call is glass/glass and has an amazing sound. The stain only took where you see it. It really came out beautiful.

Here are some Deer Grunts. From left to right we have Osage, Cherry, Bubinga, Cedar Burl, and Cedar. The glass pot call on top is made of Wenge.
